Dianne I. Wager, 73, Los Angeles, California, formerly of Lake Mills, died on August 23, 2011, at the City of Hope National Medical Center.
She was born on October 16, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late William and Inez (Koepke) Wager.
Dianne was a graduate of the Lake Mills High School, class of 1955. She later attended the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee and then graduated from the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles.
Dianne was a set designer, art director, and production designer in Hollywood.
She was involved with many movies (see: IMDB Dianne I. Wager) throughout the past 50 years, some credits include, King Kong(1976), Annie (1981), Space Balls (1987), Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), Star Trek Generation (1994), and most recently was nominated for excellence in production design awards for Pleasantville (1998) and Changeling (2008).
Survivors include two brothers, Richard (Donna) Wager of Fairborn, OH, William (Patsy) Wager of Lake Mills; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lake Mills with the Rev. Meg Shepherd, officiating.
Burial will be in the Rock Lake Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12 noon on Saturday at the church until the time of service.
