Cecille J. Gee

Cecille J. Gee (nee Gaeding), known as Cecilia, 51, Lake Mills, passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013.

She was born on July 9, 1961 in Chicago, the daughter of Ramon and Dolores (Bongiovanni) Gaeding.

Cecilia married Corey Gee on June 8, 2002 in Madison.

She was a graduate of Queen of Angels Elementary School, St. Benedict High School in Chicago, class of 1979, and later earned her degree at Madison Area Technical College.

Cecilia had been employed at Palmer Johnson Power Systems in Sun Prairie.

She was a founding member of the Milwaukee Chapter of the International Association of Hospitality Accountants, now Hospitality Financial Technology Professionals, serving as president in 1998-1999.

She was an active member of the United German Societies and the German/Bavarian Dance group D’lustig’n Wendlstoana in Milwaukee.

She was also a USA Volleyball member, club volleyball coach and member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Cecilia enjoyed volleyball, golf, bicycling, motorcycling, travel, music, theater, reading, fine wine, dining out, nature, camping, German club, decorating, exercising, sledding, her home, her friends, her family, animals, dancing, and cooking.

Survivors include her husband, Corey; daughter, Jessica Noonan; her parents; brothers, Ramon F. (Amelia) Gaeding and Frederick F. Gaeding II; sisters, Kathleen M. (James) Beck, Diana R. Neumann, Susan M. (Scott) Huelsman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at the Claussen Funeral Home, Lake Mills, WI.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home until the time of service.

Memorial services will also be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at Queen of Angels Church, Chicago, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the UW Hospital Carbone Cancer Center.
